See and Be Seen, facilitated by Eisenhower Dance Detroit, is a two-day, "one-stop shop" for high school students and their parents to explore both Michigan and select out-of-state college dance programs, take class, audition and participate in panel discussions on a range of topics from learning how to complete the FAFSA to exploring career paths for dancers. 

See and Be Seen offers opportunities for students and parents to:

• Engage directly with college representatives to gain insights into each program's curriculum, culture and expectation. This also allows students to ask questions and gather information to make informed decisions about their higher education paths.

• Attend panel discussions held by industry professionals regarding career paths, completing the FAFSA, health and wellness, college readiness and campus culture.

• Audition (12th graders only) for multiple college dance programs in a single location which streamlines the process and increases exposure

• Participate in a mock audition (9th-11th graders) to provide valuable experience and preparation for building confidence in future auditions.

2025 Projection: 150 participants and their parents

• 2022: 50 participants and their parents

• 2023: 66 participants (62 from Michigan) and their parents

• 2024: 97 participants (88 from Michigan) and their parents
