OLIVIA PARIS SARVELLO
Olivia Paris Sarvello is excited to be a company member with Eisenhower Dance Detroit for its 35th season. For the two seasons prior, Olivia apprenticed with EDD where she had the opportunity to perform in works by Stephanie Pizzo, Norbert De La Cruz III, Joshua Peugh, Yoshito Sakuraba, and Tamisha A. Guy. Most recently, she attended the NW Dance Project company repertoire intensive in January 2025 and MOVE in July 2025 where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers, James Gregg and Rebecca Margolick. Olivia graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Indiana University-Bloomington. She studied at several summer programs with SALT Contemporary Dance, Kizuna Dance, Bodytraffic, Dance Italia, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit. Olivia is also very passionate about choreography and has had her work presented at dance festivals, concerts, and competitions. In 2025, she received the Emerging Choreographer Award from Regional Dance America for her piece titled Caldera. Olivia also earned her Pilates certification from the Kane School in New York City. She teaches dance and Pilates in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
