Molly McMullen began her dance training at South Dayton School of Dance in Dayton, Ohio where she was able to train and dance frequently with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company members. Molly has attended various summer intensive programs including Ballet Chicago, DCDC, Parsons Dance, Paul Taylor and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She has performed in several RDA ballet festivals and in 2006 received the Jeraldyne Blunden Award, which allowed her to attend the National Craft of Choreography Intensive on a full scholarship. She graduated from Point Park University magna cum laude in 2012 with a BFA in Dance. Molly’s choreography has been recognized at the Youth American Grand Prix for several years including a top twelve placement award in both 2017 and 2018. In 2017, her choreography was selected to compete at the YAGP Nationals in New York City. Molly is the proud Founder and Artistic Director of the Eisenhower Dance Detroit Youth Ensemble, a program that has trained pre-professional students since 2016. Molly is in her seventh season with Eisenhower Dance Detroit where she began her role as the Rehearsal Director in 2017 and Assistant Director in 2018. This season, she will be setting choreography on the dance majors of Oakland University and her work will debut this Fall.
