originally from Troy, IL, she began her dance training under Rena Storm, where she studied the Ceccehetti Method and passed Grades I-VI. While studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at Webster University, Cheyenne had the opportunity to perform works by Antony Tudor, Jose Limon, Michael Uthoff, RAWdance, Tymberly Canale, Gary Hubler, James Robey, Monica Newsam and Dawn Karlovsky. Throughout college, she also performed professionally in a work by Dianne McIntyre at New Dance Horizons IV, with Kameron Saunders in A Modern Night at the Folly, and with James Robey at the Dancing in the Streets Festival. In 2016, her work “While Drifting” was selected and featured in the Young Choreographers Showcase at the Spring to Dance Festival in St. Louis, MO. During previous summers, she attended various intensives at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Thodos Dance Chicago, Cecchetti Council of America and under scholarship at ArcDanz in Mexico City, Mexico. Cheyenne joined Eisenhower Dance Detroit as an apprentice in 2016, since performing works by founder Laurie Eisenhower, Artistic Director Stephanie Pizzo, Joshua Manculich and BS Movement. She is eager to teach, choreograph and return as a company member for her third season!
